John’s role took him throughout Vietnam, protecting the rights of GIs. His journeys included successfully defending members of the 5th Special Forces against murder charges.

I was with the 199 inf brg . This was a photo story of my travels in Viet Nam . I was in the artillery. I was a gun bunny as they call it, then RTO for the FDC . went on patrols as a RTO and in choppers. We moved to many fire basses. I wish I could say we all returned home in one pieces but as we know now that was not the case. JTF
